After a second night of tense protests prompted by the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Gov. Doug Ducey said Sunday he's ordering an 8 p.m. curfew across Arizona, in effect for a week. The curfew, which runs through 5 a.m., has a loophole for private businesses. Read more»

The ACLU has filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of SB 1070's requirement that law officers to determine whether someone is in the country illegally if they have reason to suspect it. The case involves a woman detained after a traffic stop in Pinal County. Read more»
