Cristina Oropeza won her No. 2singles match 6-3, 6-0 over Kara Chitty from Jacksonville College and along with Noelle Karp at No. 1 doubles beat Georgie Gosen and Amy Leiu 6-4, 7-5. All the Aztecs singles and doubles players advanced to the round of 16 play Monday.

Jahnessa Mackey finished the regular season undefeated in ACCAC Conference play with an 8-0 record. She beat Madison Zeller 6-0, 6-1 as Pima beat Paradise Valley 9-0.

Juan Bravo got two wins for the Aztecs as he won in the No. 2 doubles match 8-2 and went on to defeat Matt Chavez at No. 5 singles 6-4, 6-3. Pima lost the match 5-4.
