Pima men's basketball head coach Brian Peabody earned his 200th career win (200-125) with the Aztecs after his squad defeated Chandler-Gilbert Community College 97-62 on Wednesday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Sophomore Cesar Saenz (Sabino HS) led the way with a game-high 20 points and nine rebounds. The Aztecs are 22-6 overall and 14-6 in ACCAC conference play.

Sophomore Torrance Begay was instramental in the first quarter run and preserving a lead in the fourth quarter as the No. 15 ranked Aztecs women's basketball team beat Arizona Western College 74-64. Begay scored 24 points on 7 for 11 shooting and 4 for 5 from downtown. The Aztecs are now 20-6 overall and 13-5 in ACCAC conference play.
