Sophomore Terrell Huggins (Cienega HS) hit two home runs and had six RBIs in the second game but the Aztecs baseball team fell at South Mountain Community College 3-2 and 10-9. The Aztecs closed out the regular season with 27 ACCAC conference wins; the most since 1991. They are 36-12 overall.

reshman pitcher Wilson Bannister earned his first win of the season (1-1) as he threw five and one-third innings of shutout ball giving up four hits with nine strikeouts and two walks. The Aztecs swept Paradise Valley Community College 8-4 and 6-2 in Phoenix. The Aztecs improved to 5-1 on the season.

Freshman John Dormanen (Ironwood Ridge HS) threw a complete-game shutout giving up five hits with three strikeouts and two walks as the Aztecs baseball team beat Douglas College 3-0 and 8-5 to earn the non-conference sweep. The Aztecs improved to 18-7 on the season.
