Teammates celebrate with sophomore Delaney Buntin (#15) and Meredith Scott (#21) after the Aztecs took the lead in the 48th minute. The No. 2 seeded Aztecs rallied with two unanswered goals to beat No. 3 seeded Scottsdale Community College 2-1. Scott scored both goals. Pima will play at No. 1 Phoenix College on Saturday in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Finals.

Freshman midfielder/forward Meredith Scott (Walden Grove HS) and sophomore goalkeeper Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) swept the ACCAC Player/Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 3-9. Scott had a goal and two assists while Amparano had seven saves in 152 minutes logged at the net. The Aztecs play at Cochise College on Tuesday.

Sophomore Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS) nabbed her third hat trick of the season while freshman Merdeith Scott (Walden Grove HS) had two saves as No. 3 ranked Aztecs women's soccer downed Yavapai College 4-0 on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Field. The Aztecs are now 10-1 overall and 7-1 in ACCAC conference play.
