The Aztecs Men's Golf team tied for second place at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational to open the 2023 season. The Aztecs Men's Golf team captured the program's sixth NJCAA Region I, Division I Championship on Sunday at the Corte Bella Golf Course in Sun City West; the first for head coach Marcus Smith. The Aztecs took five of the seven spots in the All-Region Team. Freshman Max Krueger (Salpointe Catholic HS) shot a 3-under par 139 (69-70) and took second place in the final individual standings at the Chandler-Gilbert CC Invitational. The Aztecs took third place in the team standings with a score of 580 (286-294).

The Pima Community College men’s golf team competed in its second tournament of the season at the Chandler-Gilbert CC Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Apache Creek Golf Course in Apache Junction. Read more»
