Thelma Grimes, the editor of media chain 10/13 Communications' holdings in Southern Arizona — the Tucson Weekly, Northwest Explorer, Inside Tucson Business and smaller publications — is stepping down after a year. Dan Gibson, editor of the Tucson Weekly, is stepping down to take a position with Visit Tucson, the nonprofit tourism promotion agency. Gibson announced the move on his personal Facebook page Wednesday, saying he'll leave the desk at the alt-weekly later this month.... Read more»

Mark B. Evans, one of the city's most respected journalists, said Friday that he's leaving his post as editor of Inside Tucson Business, which is being sold to 10/13 Communications, a chain with a history of cutting newsroom staff.
