A long-time member of the Governing Board of Pima Community College won't seek another term. Brenda Even, in office since 2001, will step down when her term expires after the November election. The chancellor of Pima Community College, Lee Lambert, got a stamp of approval from the school's Governing Board on Wednesday. His contract was extended for one year, and his salary increased by $8,700 — a three percent raise. Lambert's vacation time was also increased, by more than a week. Read more» 1

As Pima Community College reorganizes its administration while crafting a plan to satisfy accreditors, the latest moves at the school see an interim HR head being replaced by two fill-ins — one of whom will soon leave the school herself — and a shift in job titles in the public affairs and marketing departments.
