A Sept. 20 match was delayed by nearly three hours because of lightning, but FC Tucson pulled out a win.

A local ownership group, led by current head coach Jon Pearlman, is buying FC Tucson, the team said. The soccer side will drop back a level, returning to their roots as an amateur squad, but has the option to move back up to be a League One pro team again. Read more»
