Three GOP candidates for the Tucson City Council filed nominating petitions Wednesday afternoon, the final day to turn in signatures to gain a place on the August primary ballot. Bill Hunt in Ward 1, Kelly Lawton in Ward 2 and Margaret Burkholder in Ward 4 handed in their paperwork to challenge incumbent Democrats Regina Romero, Paul Cunningham and Shirley Scott. Read more»
