Auditor says DHS knew 'zero-tolerance' would split families at border
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy followed a test program in west Texas in which officials were not immediately able to reunite separated families.
