Sophomores Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS), Bri Gerhart (Tanque Verde HS), Delaney Buntin (Cienega HS), Caitlyn Maher (Catalina Foothills HSA) and Alexus Mendez (Tucson Magnet HS) were named to the All-ACCAC and All-Region teams. The No. 2-seeded Aztecs will play at No. 1 Phoenix College on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the NJCAA Region I, Division II Finals.

Freshman midfielder/forward Meredith Scott (Walden Grove HS) and sophomore goalkeeper Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) swept the ACCAC Player/Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the week of Oct. 3-9. Scott had a goal and two assists while Amparano had seven saves in 152 minutes logged at the net. The Aztecs play at Cochise College on Tuesday.
