Pima volleyballer Aydalis Felix named ACCAC Defensive Player of the Week

Pima Community College volleyball player Aydalis Felix (Rincon HS) received recognition from the ACCAC conference on Monday for her play on the court.

Felix, a sophomore libero, was named ACCAC Division II Defensive Player of the Week. She finished the week of September 13-19 with 38 digs and 11 assists in two matches as Pima went 1-1.

The Aztecs lost in four games at Eastern Arizona College but bounced back to sweep Mesa Community College at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.

Felix leads the Aztecs with 133 digs (3.91 per set) in 11 matches played so far this season.

The Aztecs are back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium tonight as they host South Mountain Community College in a make-up match from August 25. First serve is at 7 p.m.
