Pima volleyball roasted by No. 4 Scottsdale

The Pima Community College volleyball team (4-10, 1-3 in ACCAC) hit the road on Monday to face off against Scottsdale Community College (8-0, 5-0).

The Aztecs fell to the No. 4-ranked Artichokes in straight sets 25-18, 25-20, 25-15.

Sophomore Jessica Bright-Schade (Safford HS) finished the match with a team-high 12 kills to go along with six digs.

Sophomore Isabella Jacome posted 24 assists, two aces and five digs while fellow sophomore Deanna Almaguer contributed with six kills.

The Aztecs continue their busy week on Wednesday when they play at No. 10 ranked Glendale Community College. The match begins at 7 p.m.
