Photos: College football all-star workouts
College football players from around the country practiced in Tucson on Thursday, preparing for the inaugural Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game. Kickoff is 6 p.m. Monday at Kino Stadium.
The game will feature six University of Arizona Wildcats: Gino Crump, Derek Earls, Robert Golden, C.J. Parish, Mohammed Usman and Paul Vassallo.
Also suiting up will be Catalina Foothills High School graduate Brian Riley, who plays for Northern Arizona University, and Boise State's Aaron Tevis, who graduated from Canyon Del Oro High School.
More than 90 of the nation’s top college football players will play in the game, including players from Arizona State, Colorado, Louisiana State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Pittsburgh.
The teams will be coached by former Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt and former Fresno State head coach Pat Hill.
The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Arizona.
The game was recently purchased by the Tucson Padres, the baseball team announced last month.
The game was played as the Eastham Energy College All-Star Game in Tempe in 2011. Before that, the game was known as the Blue-Gray Football Classic and the Inta Juice North-South Game.
