The Colorado River and its tributaries, like the Little Colorado here, generate an estimated $1.4 trillion in economic activity a year throughout the states in the watershed, a new report claims.

Without water from the Colorado River, Arizona's gross state product would drop by more than $185 billion in a year and the state would lose more than 2 million jobs, says a new report. It says there are more than 16 million jobs in seven-state basin that are linked to the river. Read more»
