Comic: Medical marijuana
Where were YOU during the 60s, Senator? Oh, right. Sorry.
U.S. Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl led a group of Republican officials Wednesday in denouncing a ballot measure—Proposition 203— that would permit the use of medical marijuana in Arizona.
And yet in 1996 and 1998 Arizonan voted in favor of the use of medical marijuana, while prominent lawmakers including President Barack Obama, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg have admitted past marijuana use (though none, it must be admitted, have stated their use was medical in nature).
Senator... duuuuude... chill.
