Sisyphus Romney

A Republican candidate for one of Indiana's seats in the U.S. Senate seat is under fire for having suggested that pregnancy resulting from rape is "something that God intended to happen."

McKayla is not impressed. And neither, we presume, is Mitt Romney.

Roberto De Vido is a communications consultant, writer, cartoonist and jack of many trades. The former chief of Tucson Sentinel’s East Asia Bureau, he now lives in California (make of that what you will).

“Are you trying to suggest that somehow I think that God pre-ordained rape? No, I don’t think that. That’s sick. Twisted. That’s not even close to what I said. What I said is that God creates life.”
