When The New York Times published a not-so-obliquely-critical-of-the-United-States op-ed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. John McCain thought to himself, "This will not stand!"
Rather than lobby his Senate colleagues to launch a volley of ICBMs at Russia, the Arizona Republican fought fire with fire, contributing his own op-ed to Pravda.
So there, Vlad!
