As expected, right-wing candidate Marine Le Pen was eliminated in the first round of French presidential election voting. And as expected, president Nicolas Sarkozy is lagging in the polls behind opponent Francois Hollande before next month's second-round vote. Both candidates want Le Pen's xenophobic supporters, and they'll go as low as it takes to win them over.
