We will not edit comments to alter their meaning or censor comments because of political content.
We will not remove comments solely because they are heartless, cruel, coarse, foolish or just plain wrong. Your disapproval can maintain a decent signal to noise ratio. Ultimately, however, self-policing is the best method.
Bottom line, don't be a jerk.

Mr. Fimbres refused to meet with any representative of Strong Start Tucson during or after the period in which the initiative was being drafted. Multiple requests for appointments from the committee and constituents were either refused or ignored.
Rr. Fimbres had ample opportunity to offer ideas, suggestions, and alternatives, but did nothing of the sort. Despite his observation, “Everyone agrees that early childhood education and care is important for young children from the ages of birth up to five years, when the brain is rapidly developing.” he has shown no interest in promoting early childhood education in Tucson—just like his “education advocate” friends in the business community. It sure is business as usual…do nothing for kids. His complaints ring very hollow, and sound as if they are copied directly from the NO website.
