Why Rick Perry is bad for Latinos

Earlier this summer, Texas Gov. Rick Perry walked into a hotel ballroom in a jovial mood to address the Annual Conference of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials where he faced a chilly reception. Perry’s failing record on issues important to Latinos is no laughing matter.

APRIEATA! the sooner hispanics start referring to themselves as Americans first, that happen to have a hispanic heritage, the better off we will be. If rep. Anchia thinks the public education system’s problems are only Latino problems, he’s wrong. In fact every argument he presents is a Texas, American, citizens problem, not just hispanic. I put forth this idea…..... The more Americans distinguish themselves in to separate groups based on ethnicity, race, or any other reason the more we seem like segregationists.  Thats not the idea. And please representative Anchia, when you use the word immigration, put the word illegal in front of it. I’m pretty sure when you took the oath of office, you swore to uphold the laws of our country…....
