GUADALAJARA, Mexico – One of the most wanted fugitives on the FBI’s list has been caught in western Mexico.

Jose Luis Saenz, otherwise known as Zapp, Peanut Joe Smiley and Honeycutt, was arrested in Guadalajara, Mexico’s second-largest city, on Thursday, Reuters reported.

US-born Saenz is wanted in the United States on suspicion of kidnapping, rape and murder, Milenio reported.

Informador reported that the FBI had offered up to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest.

According to the FBI, Saenz allegedly killed two rival gang members in Los Angeles in July 1998. Two weeks later he allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered his girlfriend.

Authorities also believe Sanchez murdered another man in October 2008 in Los Angeles County.
