Brazil's newest "love hotel" stands apart from the rest, not for its amenities, but its clientele: dogs.

That's right, a brother and sister in the southeastern city of Belo Horizonte have devoted an entire floor of their eight-story Animalle Mundo Pet to doggie trysts, Agence France-Press reported.

Discerning dog owners pay $50 a day for a room to breed their canines in what's billed as a clean and safe environment, complete with dimmed lighting and even a heart-shaped mirror on the ceiling and red cushions on the floor, according to The New York Times.

"For many people, the dog is a child who must be well treated," 26-year-old hotel co-owner Fabiano Lourdes told the economic daily Valor. "Our market studies showed that people work all day long and they do not know where to drop their pets for mating."

He and his sister, Daniela, invested $1 million in the venture and hope similar hotels will sprout up elsewhere in Brazil, according to The Telegraph.

Besides "mating services," Animalle Mundo Pet offers a store filled with items like beef-flavored Dog Beer (nonalcoholic), a dog spa with a Japanese ofuro soaking tub, a dog fitness center, a special birthday zone, and canine apparel emblazoned with the symbols of the local soccer clubs Atlético Mineiro and Cruzeiro, according to The Times.

Because, you know, even Fido likes to be pampered sometimes.
