Dementia appears to disproportionately affect Black and Latino individuals, according to new study

Researchers found that nearly 10% of adults 65 and older have dementia and 22% have mild cognitive impairment, and the people most likely to develop cognitive impairments are not only older, but also more likely to be Black or Latino and less likely to have received higher education.
