UA journalism alum was held for 19 days

Reporter Dorothy Parvaz, a UA alum, was detained in Syria and deported to Iran, then finally released after 19 days. Prior to deporting her, the Syrians had held Dorothy in a prison, where her time was punctuated by the screams of men being tortured.
