Just imagine - soon the US will be sandwiched between Canada on the north and Mexico on the south, and both more civilized.
Not really a new state of affairs for a country that was surrounded by countries which had outlawed slavery - really just same old thing.

And although Mexico City residents are about split on the issue, the rest of country is apparently much more conservative. In light of that, it’s even more surprising that it’s moving ahead.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Supreme Court rules.
