Gas main work to disrupt Oro Valley streets for four months

Work to replace natural gas mains in Oro Valley Country Club and surrounding subdivisions will see streets torn up during the four-month project, a release from the town said.

Southwest Gas and Northern Pipeline will be replacing the gas main and services in the area starting Tuesday, an Oro Valley press release said.

While the work will take about four months to complete, not all streets will be affected throughout the project. Some streets will be completed within two weeks, the release said.

The affected roadways:

  • Greenock Drive, from Desert Golf Place to Oracle Road
  • Golf View Drive, from Calle Loma Linda to Landoran Lane
  • Along Calle Loma Linda
  • Valle Del Oro Road, from Calle El Milagro to Calle Buena Vista
  • Along West Bangalor Drive
  • Along Atua Place
  • Along Desert Sky Road
  • Along Linda Vista

For more information on the project, contact Northern Pipeline's superintendent, Jim Riddle, at 928-237-7083.
