Agents arrest man wanted on sex abuse charges

Naco Station agents apprehended a Mexican man Sunday night for attempting to enter the United States illegally. Record checks revealed he has a warrant out of Pima County for two counts of sexual abuse with a minor.
Ajo Station Border Search, Trauma and Rescue agents apprehended a 31-year-old Mexican man Friday night for attempting to illegally enter the United States. The man admitted to being a member of the Sureño 13 gang. He faces federal charges.
On Saturday, Willcox Station agents stopped a vehicle suspected of being involved in a string of traffic sign shootings in Benson. Agents found two handguns and drug paraphernalia. Cochise County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and cited two Americans. Neither gun was found to be in connection with the sign shootings, but record checks revealed that one of the weapons had been reported stolen.
