Update: Power restored downtown

Electricity has been restored to about 4,000 Tucson Electric Power customers in the downtown area, TEP said.

Power was lost around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday south of Grant Road, north of Alameda, west of Park Avenue and east of I-10, Tashonda Betts, a customer service representative with TPE, said.

Traffic was reportedly affected at Speedway and Stone, where the traffic signal was out.
