Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents seized nearly 950 pounds of marijuana stashed in an abandoned home in Patagonia on Thursday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
Sonoita Station agents received a tip that the property was being used as a drug stash house, the Border Patrol said Friday.
With assistance from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, agents found 43 bundles of marijuana, weighing nearly 950 pounds and valued at $475,000, inside the house, the Border Patrol said.
