A 28-year-old Mexican man apprehended by Nogales Station agents Wednesday night is facing federal prosecution for illegal re-entry of an aggravated felon. He has convictions in Oregon for first-degree rape, giving false information to a police officer and illegal entry.
Ajo Station agents assigned to the All Terrain Vehicle unit arrested a 30-year-old Mexican man Wednesday night who was found with 11 bundles of marijuana weighing more than 570 pounds and worth more than $288,800. He was held for federal prosecution.
