Gangplank boots up free co-working center in Tucson
Gangplank, a nonprofit center that offers free workspace for computer programmers, web designers and other tech professionals, is opening the doors of its Tucson co-working center Friday.
Gangplank's grand opening will be 3-7 p.m. at the center, 5120 S. Julian Dr., near Interstate 10 and Irvington Road. Gangplank is located in the Bookmans recently established shipping center.
"Gangplank Tucson is a collaborative workspace for people who want to be productive and share what they know," the organization said. "Anyone is welcome to drop in and use a work station or a conference room, at no cost."
"We’ll provide the wi-fi, the quiet, the A/C, and the espresso you need to execute your master plan."
Gangplank, which originated in Chandler, also plans to open a center in Avondale.
