Arrests
Ajo Station agents arrested a 43-year-old Mexican man Tuesday for illegally entering the United States. Record checks revealed he was convicted for child/vulnerable adult abuse in Phoenix. He was held for prosecution.
Also on Tuesday, Ajo Station agents arrested a 40-year-old Mexican man after he presented a false U.S. passport at the Border Patrol checkpoint on S.R 85. Record checks revealed was convicted of gross negligent DUI and vehicular manslaughter in Los Angeles. He was held for prosecution for re-entry of an aggravated felon and for misuse of a U.S. passport.
Rescue
Agents from the Ajo Station and the Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue unit responded to a 911 call late Tuesday from two people who said they were lost and dehydrated. Agents found the pair who were taken to the Sells Hospital by Ajo Ambulance.
