The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for eastern Pima County on Wednesday afternoon.

The advisory covers the Tucson metro area, Oro Valley, Marana, Green Valley and southeastern Pinal County.

The advisory is in effect until 2:30 p.m.

The agency advised that the run-off from steady and moderate rainfall will produce minor flooding in area washes Wednesday afternoon, as well as raising water levels on streets and in underpasses.
