Midnight deadline to register for November election
If you're not registered to vote, or have recently moved, Monday is the deadline to make sure you can cast a ballot in next month's election for Tucson's City Council, recalls in Oro Valley, the Pima County bond proposals and more.
In Tucson, the November 3 general election will be held in conjunction with Pima County and be a polling-place election, in contrast to the city's usual all mail-in format. Ballots will begin to be mailed over the next week to those who've signed up for the Permanent Early Voting List, election officials said.
