Reports: Recent UA grad confirmed dead in Vegas massacre

A 2017 University of Arizona graduate was among those killed in the Sunday-night attack in Las Vegas, according to news reports.

Christiana Duarte, who earned a bachelor's in business marketing from the UA in May, died in the mass shooting, NBC News Los Angeles reported.

The TV station said Duarte's family confirmed her death.

The 21-year-old former Eller College of Management was reported missing by her family and friends Monday.

Duarte was among the thousands attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert on the Las Vegas Strip who were shot at by a gunman in a nearby hotel. At least 59 people were killed, and more than 500 injured in the attack.
