Beto O'Rourke to stump in Tucson

Beto O'Rourke, a Democratic presidential candidate, will hold a "town hall" meeting in Tucson on Sunday. The former Texas congressman lost a high-profile U.S. Senate race to Ted Cruz last year.

O'Rourke has struggled to get beyond single digits in most polls, yet has remained qualified to appear in Democratic primary debates.

His campaign stop in Tucson will be at Gentle Ben's, 865 E. University Blvd., from 3-5 p.m. The Democrat's campaign is collecting email addresses and phone numbers of those who RSVP for the event.
