U.S. Rep. Ron Barber will speak at a Bisbee public forum on Social Security disability on Wednesday afternoon.
The event will be held noon-2 p.m. to "educate constituents on the Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income programs," Barber's office said.
"Applying for Social Security Disability benefits can be confusing," Barber said in a press release. "This is an excellent opportunity for people who may be eligible for these benefits to hear from experts in the field."
The forum, to be held at the Cochise County Board of Supervisors meeting room, 1415 Melody Lane, Bisbee, is cosponsored by DIRECT Center for Independence Inc. and the congressman's office.
Topics to be covered include:
Barber is scheduled to make introductory remarks at the forum.
Those who wish to attend should RSVP by calling Barber's office in Sierra Vista at 520-459-3115 or emailing constituent services representative Daniel Frey.

Is this like his campaign and that photo-op with the reconquista slob last week where Barber just speaks in generalities refusing to go into specifics and scares seniors by making them think his opponent is going to take all their benefits away?
Maybe he’ll sing happy birthday again…
