J.C. Scott: Isquierdo talks about the 'New Sunnyside'

We started the show with an interview with Sunnyside Unified School District Superintendent Manuel L. Isquierdo, who talked about the "New Sunnyside'" as he laid out his plans for the future. Members of the district's Governing Board are facing recall efforts because of their support of — and opposition to — the renewal of Isquierdo's contract.
27 min: Tucsoncitizen.com Administrator Mark B. Evans talked about his latest opinion piece, "Transplanting bighorn sheep to Pusch Ridge is cruel and futile." He also talked about what he believes is a misperception that Kino Stadium is located in a crime-ridden area, and commented on a court ruling the the City of Tucson must release records of negotiations with Grand Canyon University.
