3 min: We started the show with Northern Arizona reporter Jeff Demand, who explained the split that has developed over survivors' benefits for part-time members of the Granite Mountain Hot Shot crew killed in the Yarnell Hill Fire. He also talked about the grieving and healing process the area is experiencing right now.
25 min: Next up was Ward 6 Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik, who talked about the death of Dave Sitton. Kozachik also discussed the City of Tucson winning an election dispute, a controversy over a new pot dispensary's location, Tucson's new finance director, residents near El Con hopeful an agreement can be found over operating hours and liquor sales and an update of the Broadway widening project.
