We started the show with Tucson Padres General Manager Mike Feder; along with the former chair of the Pima County Sports and Tourism Authority, Tom Tracy; and Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik, who all joined John to remember the life of our great friend, civic leader and longtime contributor to the John C. Scott Show, Dave Sitton.

30 min; We interviewed developer and City Hall commentator Richard Studwell about a proposal for more metered parking in the Downtown and 4th Avenue. areas. Studwell also covered public transportation, city pension issues, community support for Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and small business issues.

51 min: We wre joined by Administrator Mark B. Evans, who talked about his latest columns "Are Ed O'Bannon and Jake Fischer the cure for NCAA arms race insanity?," "When finding lost dogs when PACC is closed, you might be better off just to ignore them," "Journalists need to resume skepticism of climate science data" and "Door-kick-by-door-kick, frisk-by-frisk, roadblock-by-roadblock we change the definition of liberty." 85 min: We finished the show with Washington commentator Jimmy Zuma, who gave his take on the Justice Department's call for a pull back of the use of mandatory minimum sentences for low-level drug offenders, a judges ruling that the New York Police Department's "stop and frisk" tactic is tantamount to racial profiling and a threat to shut down government over the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
