J.C. Scott: Loughner pleads guilty, avoids death penalty

Attorney General Tom Horne is asking a court to declare that planned medical marijuana dispensaries should not be opened because of a conflict with federal law. He also talked about his enforcement of a new online tobacco sales law. John also asked about Horne's political future in light of accusations of engaging in a political cover-up and the resulting FBI investigation.

Dave Joseph, a Democratic candidate for state House in LD11, said his platform is first and foremost jobs and job creation. Also discussed were business regulation and transportation needs. Joseph believes his business background gives him the edge in his run for the Legislature.

The editor and publisher of Tucsonsentinel.com, Dylan Smith, attended a hearing Tuesday in which Jared Loughner pleaded guilty to killing six people and wounding former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and a dozen others in a January 2011 mass shooting.
