Deputies searching for 89-year-old man missing since Saturday

An elderly man missing on a sweltering day is the focus of a search by Pima County deputies. Robert Crubaugh was last seen driving a black Chevy Trailblazer with a wheelchair rack near Bopp and San Joaquin roads Saturday morning.

Crubaugh, 89, uses a walker, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and pants, and red, white and blue suspenders, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.

Crubaugh, missing since around 8 a.m. Saturday, is about 5'11" tall, 200 lbs., with brown eyes and white hair, said Deputy Daniel Jelineo.

Crugbaugh may be driving a black 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer, Arizona license plate KKN42, with a wheelchair hookup on the back, Jelineo said.

He was last seen in the 8900 block of West Bopp Road, near South San Joaquin Road on the west side of the Tucson Mountains, just north of Ryan Airfield.

Anyone with knowledge of Crubaugh's location should call 911, Jelineo said.
