J.C. Scott: Grijalva and Carmona interviews
U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva, who's running for re-election in the newly created CD3, talked about his legislative record, jobs, the economy, national debt, taxes, health care, immigration, and the Rosemont copper mine.
Dr. Richard Carmona, a former U.S. surgeon general who is a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, joined John for his first Southern Arizona radio interview. Besides Carmona's biography, the conversation also covered foreign and domestic policy. Carmona is on a statewide town hall tour, speaking on issues that effect veterans. Carmona talked about jobs, immigration, balancing the budget, preserving Social Security and Medicare, and protecting women's health care, including abortion rights.
