Voter registration deadline at midnight
Want a say on who will be Arizona's senator? Care about who's going to Washington (or Phoenix)? Make sure your opinion matters - register to vote.
Monday is the deadline to register for the August primary election. Early voting begins Thursday.
The registration deadline is midnight; you can register online at ServiceArizona.com, which is down for maintenance every night after 11:50 p.m.
The Pima County Recorder is staying open until 7 p.m. on Monday to register voters.
Unlike presidential primary elections, independent voters can vote in the Republican or Democratic primaries. Only registered Libertarians can vote in that party's primary election.
If you are already registered, but have moved, changed your name or want to change political parties, you should register before the deadline.
For registration information, go to the Pima County Recorder's Office site or call 740-4330. The Recorder's Office also has a list of early voting sites for those who've already made up their minds.
