J.C. Scott: Big questions over Manning House deal

U.S. Rep Jeff Flake started Thursday's show talking about his heated primary battle with Wil Cardon and his recent endorsements by U.S. Sens. McCain and Kyl. Flake said he's basing his campaign on border security, government spending, government reform, education, energy and transportation.

Reporter Jim Nintzel joined John for our "Tucson Weekly on Radio" segment for a break down of the top stories in this week's issue.

Republican National Committeeman Bruce Ash questioned a proposed purchase of the downtown historic mansion the Manning House by Rio Nuevo.

Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik said he believes that the Manning House deal would be illegal. He questioned the city getting involved with Marist College property upgrades, and commented on the sexual harassment training that every city employee must go through in the wake of the Paul Cunningham incident.
