JC Scott: No special session on election initiative

Update: State Republican leader on Friday evening called off the proposed special session. Earlier:

Jim Small, editor of the Arizona Capitol Times talked about the special session of the Legislature being called next week to craft a ballot measure to rival the Open Elections/Open Government citizens' initiative filed Thursday. He also discussed a proposed nullification initiative that would attempt to give voters the right to overrule federal laws they believe are unconstitutional.

District 1 candidate for Pima County supervisor Mike Hellon talked about his campaign, including a proposal for heat warnings at county trail heads.

Sen. Frank Antenori, the Republican LD10 candidate, shared why he believes next week's special session of the Legislature is necessary and why he opposes the Open Elections/Open Government initiative.
