On Friday's edition:

We began the show with Arizona Capitol Times reporter Hank Stephenson, followed by Republican state Rep. Ethan Orr, who updated us on the latest Arizona budget and Medicaid expansion negotiations at the Legislature.

34 minutes into the show, we wre joined by Ward 6 Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik, who talked about perceptions that Tucson is negative on business, Grand Canyon University, plus budget and pension issues.

56 min: We wre joined by Jimmy Zuma from Washington, D.C., who gave his take on data mining by National Security Agency. Cell phone data and internet traffic is being swept up on a massive scale, he said.

78 min: TucsonSentinel.com's Dylan Smith broke news Friday with a leak of draft documents of the new Tucson Unified School District multi-cultural curriculum. Plus, Smith takled about the abrupt resignation of former Pima Community College interim chancellor Suzanne Miles, a longtime cohort of Roy Flores, the school's former leader.

92 min: GM Mike Feder talked about this weekend's Tucson Padres homestand, in which the baseball team will wear throwback uniforms.
