Part of Naranja Drive will be closed throughout most of June

Between June 3 and June 24, workers will close Naranja Drive between La Cholla Boulevard and Gemini Drive to through traffic, in order to pave the road for the La Cholla widening project, officials said.

The alternative route is Shannon Road via Lambert Lane.

The closure will allow Hunter Contracting Co.  to pave the west side of Naranja at La Cholla.

North and south bound traffic on La Cholla will remain open during this time, and Naranja east of the La Cholla intersection will remain open.
